When creating Le Salon, I wanted to bring Paris to New York. So we designed a grand botanical mural, inspired by the one at Printemps Haussmann from the 1930s.
A fantasy garden, where golden and silver palm trees live in symbiosis with delicate leaves, imaginary fruits, tropical plants, cherry blossoms, and plants that look like feathers—all set in golden skies and airy clouds. I envisioned this space as an ever-evolving garden, the kind that exists only in dreams. The mural welcomes you from the stairs and flows through the entire salon, immersing you in this vision. Thank you, @atelierromaparis, for this incredible collaboration and for bringing this idyllic scene to life.
